Bringing a kitten home is a magical experience — yeah, it’s exciting yet challenging. I still remember the day (October 22nd, 2023) I brought my little furball, Durga, home. She was tiny, curious, and full of energy, yet a bit wary of her new surroundings. She was filled with playful pounces, tiny meows, and an overload of cuteness.

I still remember the day when I first introduced Durga to catnip. I was excited enough to see how she’d react to it, which was completely new and unfamiliar to her.

Have you ever seen your pet getting stressed, just like we do? Have you ever seen that your dog has started trembling? Does your cat suddenly hide or act up in unexpected ways that you have never seen before?

When Durga (my cat daughter) first tiptoed into my life on October 22nd, 2023, she carried a spark of untamed adventure. It was a hint of the wild hidden beneath her soft paws.

The day I decided to bring Durga home was the day of Durga Ashtami; I expected challenges, of course, but I wasn’t prepared for the deep transformation our shared journey would bring to both our lives.
